Presentation and objectives of the course

Legislative Decree no. 115/08, implementing Directive 2006/32/EC concerning the energy efficiency in the final use and energy services, in art. 16, concerning the qualification of energy services, introduces the certification of Energy Management Systems (EneMS) according to ISO 50001 in order to promote a process of increasing the level of objectivity and reliability for the measurements and the systems aimed at improving energy efficiency. Therefore, the ability to evaluate an EneMS at the customer’s location is a distinctive skill for all subjects operating in the energy services sector.

The training course aims to analyze the specific requirements of ISO 50001, analyzing its individual aspects in depth with modules designed to illustrate methodologies and tools useful and necessary for an effective evaluation of the Energy Management System.

Recipients of the course

The course is designed for Experts in Energy Management, Energy Managers, Third Party Auditors and Internal Auditors, Consultants and Managers of the Energy Management System and the Environmental Management System, and all those interested in acquiring specific skills to conduct audits related to Energy Management Systems compliant with ISO 50001.
